Aluminium does not rust, rot or warp. The boat requires virtually no maintenance; painting is not necessary, because the oxide layer protects itself. For the same dimensions, an aluminium boat is lighter than polyester or wood, which means: easier to trailer, more speed and lower fuel consumption.
100% recyclable, and resistant to the forces where steel or polyester would already crack.

There are boats you use. And there are boats you are proud of. One of Tinn-Silver’s boats is the latter: instantly recognisable on the water, built to last and fully bespoke in our own workshop in Maasbracht. Not from an assembly line, but by people who know what they are building.

About the Tinn-Silver boats
About the Tinn-Silver boats

The 760 is no ordinary boat. Designed as the perfect combination between a classic Dutch 'bakdekker' (aft-cabin cruiser) and an elegant tender. Fully electrically powered by a 22 kW Greenmarine motor and 48 kWh of batteries, good for 30 hours of cruising at 5 knots. The aluminium hull was built by Tinnemans Floating Solutions, and the deck is finished with natural cork. No compromises, only the best materials and craftsmanship.

The Amista is a milestone in electric shipping. Built as a commercial water taxi for Société Paul Ricard, this vessel sails between Bandol and Île de Bendor on the French Riviera, serving guests of the luxury Zannier Hotels on the island. One of the first fully electric commercial vessels to sail at sea under the French flag. Built in cooperation with Tinnemans Floating Solutions, Green Marine Motors and Catran Galema naval architects.
